VILLAGE HALL  Marloes village hall is situated in the centre of the village. For hire of the hall please contact Maureen Howells 01646 636212.

COMMUNITY COUNCIL  The Marloes & St Brides Community Council meets monthly. The minutes and the date of the next meeting are published in Peninsula Papers. Members of the public are welcome to attend the meetings and may address the meeting on the invitation of the chairman. MARLOES WELCOME CLUB  This friendly club for over-60s meets regularly in the village hall, usually on Wednesday afternoons. For more information call Ira Hemingway on 01646 636453

MARLOES, ST. BRIDES AND DALE MOTHERS UNION  Members meet monthly on Tuesday evenings. For further information contact the secretary Marina Titley on 01646 636962

MARLOES AND ST BRIDES SUMMER FETE This is run by the PCC and is usually held on the first Thursday in August at the slightly unusual time of 6:00 pm. It is held on the tree- shaded lawn at St Brides Castle, by the kind permission of Holiday Property Bond.

DALE WI  Dale WI welcomes members from Dale and surrounding areas. Meetings are twice monthly on Tuesday evenings. Contact the secretary Ann Barkworth 01646 636873. Here is the programme of meetings and events.

COASTLANDS HISTORY GROUP  Coastlands Local History Group has a very active programme of meetings, visits and exhibitions. COASTLANDS NATURAL HISTORY GROUP  This is an informal group of “nature lovers” who meet approximately once a month for an indoor meeting or a outdoor guided walk. Contact Jane Warr 01646 636784

DALE AMATEUR DRAMATIC SOCIETY  DADS welcomes members of all ages from Dale and surrounding areas to join in various amateur dramatic and entertainment activities, usually culminating in an annual entertainment for the community, which could be a panto, a talent show or a play. MARLOES BEACH CLEAN  A dedicated band of beach cleaners carry out this task on a regular basis and remove large amounts of (sometimes quite interesting) rubbish washed up on the beach by the south westerly winds. Contact Chris Jessop for more information 01646 636789.

NCI COASTWATCH The National Coastwatch Institution (NCI) is an entirely voluntary organisation keeping a visual watch along UK shores. NCI watch-keepers provide the eyes and ears along the coast, monitoring radio channels and providing a listening watch in poor visibility.
